Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Announced

Streaming directly to your brain (or Netflix) in 2022

As a part of their Night City Wire presentation, CD Project Red announced a partnership with Studio Trigger to bring their vision of the Cyberpunk 2077 world to Netflix. Called Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, it appears to be based on the timeline of the game and a match made in heaven. There is nothing more anime than Cyberpunk, and to see such a high profile studio bring it all together.

For those keeping track at home, this is an anime based on a game based on a tabletop RPG. There is nothing more than some concept art and talk form the shows director, but it is still roughly two years out. That will give us more than enough time to play Cyberpunk 2077.
